Policies and Procedures
At Artistry of Relaxation, it is my commitment to provide a unique and outstanding massage experience to all of my clients. I am not only here to help you feel better but to provide top notch massage therapy services. Your continued patronage and health are both of importance to me. Out of consideration for my time, the success of this business and standard operating procedures for the efficient flow of clients and services, I have adopted the following policies:
ARRIVAL TO YOUR SESSION
Please arrive for your appointment(s) 10 minutes prior to the scheduled starting time. This allows time to complete the appropriate client forms, change and prepare for the service. All appointments are on a strict time schedule and early arrival allows for a relaxed and unhurried experience. Every client is important to me and every session is designed to use the full duration allotted. If late arrival is inevitable, your service(s) may be shortened in order to keep on schedule.
There will be a $25.00 cancellation fee for 60 min sessions not canceled within a 12 hour time frame. There will be a $40.00 fee for 90 min sessions not canceled within a 12 hour time frame. And, there will be a $50.00 for 120 min sessions not canceled within a 12 hour time frame.
Multiple services (two or more), and packages require 48 hours cancellation notice. If you need to make a change to your appointment on the day of the service, such as changing the time, a fee may apply due to limited availability.
If booking your massage within 24 hours of the actual appointment, there is no cancellation and you will be charged the full amount of the appointment.
If a client fails to cancel within 24 hours multiple times (2 or more), they will be asked to pre-pay for future services.
Please remember there is high demand for good massage services and there are many other clients looking for massage appointments. Last minute cancellations or no-shows are costly to my business and prevent others from taking advantage of the last minute open slot.
NO CALL/NO SHOW POLICY
If a scheduled appointment results in a No Call/No Show, a fee of $25.00 will be REQUIRED before the next appointment can be booked. If a client has a recurrence of No Call/ No Shows on multiple occasions (2 or more times), they will be REQUIRED to pre-pay for all future services. NO EXCEPTIONS.
LATE ARRIVAL POLICY
Out of courtesy for other scheduled clients, appointments will automatically be cancelled after 15 minutes of the scheduled start time. An additional fee will be charged in accordance with the cancellation policy. I am unable to accommodate appointment extensions for late arrivals. I reserve the right to make exceptions under special circumstances on a case by case basis at my discretion.
Clients are asked to cancel appointments when they are not feeling well. I will do the same in return. Due to the nature of massage therapy work and the close personal contact involved, we are all vulnerable to infections. As a solo practitioner illness not only affects other clients through cancellations until I am feeling better, but also affects my livelihood. As a result, I ask that you cancel your appointment when you are feeling unwell.
If you have any of the following contagious illnesses, the massage session will be rescheduled: Cancellation fees will be waved do to sickness if appointment is rescheduled:
Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Sore Throat, Poison Ivy, Flu, Chicken Pox, Head Lice, Impetigo, Ringworm, Common Cold or anything else that is or could be contagious.
All children under the age of 18 receiving services must be accompanied by a parent at all times during their appointment. I do not massage anyone under the age of 18 without a signed intake form from the parent/legal guardian. Parent/legal guardian must be the one to schedule the appointment(s).
A treatment plan will be discussed with you prior to each massage session. This consistent review of the treatment plan ensures that we are both working toward the same goals. At your first visit you will receive a copy of the massage therapy policies and will be asked to sign a consent form stating that you have read the information, understand, and agree to comply with the policies and procedures as stated. Clients not seen within a one year time frame will be required to complete a new form.
OTHER MASSAGE POLICY
Please note: You are ONLY allowed to purchase 2 vouchers. Per GROUPON rules you are able to use one (1) for yourself and one (1) as a gift, OR both for yourself. However, if you have purchased more than 2 vouchers you will be required to pay the difference between your voucher price and the actual price of the service.
